# VAULT 181

## $TOOL Staking

Vault 181 is a staking platform used to lock up your earned or bought $TOOL to earn additional $TOOL. The more $TOOL staked to Vault 181 the more the APR % depletes. Vault 181 can be accessed via the Toolhead staking website next to the 'Vault Explorer' tab.

The 10% diamond hand bonus has been replaced with a 5% boost on staking APR% in Vault 181. $TOOL can be staked multiple times but each time a new transaction is processed there is a 30 day minimum lockup for that specific amount of $TOOL. The first time you send $TOOL to Vault 181 it will cost you 2 $ADA. After that, additional transfers will just be a network fee. Your $TOOL must be withdrawn to stake it. No loaned $TOOL is able to be staked, it must be in your wallet and not tied to any other smart contracts.

For reference. The 181 contract address is below.

**DO NOT SEND $TOOL DIRECTLY TO IT OR YOU WILL LOSE IT FOR GOOD.**
